The washer woman rolls up to their house, hits it, and emerges from the snowball frozen stiff. Bobby and Fido enter the shot, and Bobby runs into the house. He douses the washerwoman with multiple pails of hot water until she gradually resumes movement. In the cellar, the washing woman dismantles the gun with an ax, and feeds the wood into the mouth of a furnace (which chews it). Bobby and Fido, sitting on the stairs in the foreground, express dismay.
