As ghost Alex adjusts to life after death with werewolf Tom and vampire Hal, we meet poisonous pensioner Captain Hatch, behind whose foul exterior lurks an ancient evil.Plot Summary:Ninety years earlier, vampire Hal and werewolf Lady Catherine unsuccessfully attempted to end the war created by the devil through the Trinity between werewolves, vampires and ghosts. In the present, Alex searches for her body with Tom's help so that she may pass over, but discovers herself listed as drowned and already processed. The sinister Dominic Rook approaches Hal and tries to tempt him with a supply of blood if he will engineer a vampire take-over. Hal refuses but shortly thereafter becomes responsible for office worker Ian "Crumb" Cran being run over. To prevent Ian dying, Hal turns him into a vampire and imprisons him in the cellar.
